Here on Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where land meets a sea covered in ice, a group of Shambalaists are chanting and meditating on creating the enlightened society we all long for. In our own unique ways, may we all put forth efforts so that kindness, generosity and peace become the norm.

A call to action – yes! it's easy to get lost in the fog (real or "alternate") and it takes effort and determination to look beyond and believe that fog is a phenomenon of nature that is only temporary. But belief in a new day, after the fog has cleared, keeps us going.

You have a way with words and deep expressions of what life is all about. I love the fog/spring analogy. It’s perfect and reflective of this season here in southern California.
What resonated with me the most was the idea to get out there and clear one’s head. Being in nature gives us clarity that we can’t get inside.
